Mature size: 12 to 14 inches tall and spread up to 24 inches.
This dwarf New York Aster has compact, dark glossy, green mounding foliage. Light blue, gold center, daisy-like flowers bloom from late summer into fall.
Plant in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil. Tolerates salt, sandy or clay soils, and some drought. Since this species has a dwarf, compact habit, it will not require staking. 'Wood's' selections have shown excellent resistance to mildew and rust.
Virtually mildew and disease free.
Great for containers, as a border or in front of the garden, and cut flowers. Attracts butterflies and deer resistant. |
