Full sun to part shade, evergreen in warmer climates.
Plants reach 18 to 20 inches tall and 12 to 15 inches wide, compact, upright, clump-forming perennial. Growth rate: Moderate, a few self-sown seedlings may appear in the spring.
'Heavanly Habit' forms a neatly compact clump of glossy, ferny green foliage topped with fragrant, blue blossoms with a yellow halo and white eye. Larger flowers than the species.
Easy to grow, in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils, Polemoniums prefer rich, humus, consistently moist soil with protection from afternoon sun. Foliage may scorch in too much sun. Deadhead to encourage late summer reblooming.
